That AB Quote List I Promised

We sure do have a big vocab for three and for the most part it can be a huge blessing because we don't have to do the parent shuffle trying to figure out why she is upset or what she'd like to eat, but it also can be a bit trying... LOL - mostly just humorous.

Here are a few I'm loving right now! I hope you can imagine AB's little tone and they brighten your day!

When we offer Annabelle something to wear something to eat or something to watch she has gotten very creative in her reasoning why she is not interested... Such as:

Annabelle do you want to watch Scooby Doo, Mummy Mystery? AB: "No, Mummy Mystery is too wrappie"
Do you want apple for a snack? AB: "No, too crunchy!"
Let's wear this cute dress! AB: "No, too fluffy!"
Let's watch the new dinosaur movie Mimzey got for you! AB: "Too chompy!"

When we are eating there are many, many, many excuses as to why a meal can't be finished... "But Mommy I am a princess and princesses DO NOT have to eat their dinner!"

To go right along with princess mode- I have been asked to help her put on her "cessories"
Nick and I have been called "Enchanting, Beautiful, Breath-taking and (Nick's favorite)... Fancy!

So we'll jump in to the potty talk... (sorry future Annabelle, looking at your blog because this one will make you blush) Potty talk consists of "yellow poopie" and "brown poopie"- that is correct there is no tinkle or pee pee, just the two very distinct poopies. My favorite is when "brown poopie" comes up in discussion while in public! Always a treat.

We've also started tumbling and we are continuing are trips to story time at the library. It is fun to watch how Annabelle behaves for other adults... In my early assessment I can honestly say it's a good thing I'll be home when AB starts school, because I'll be at school A LOT! Listening and following directions were never my strong point and seemingly they may not be Annabelle's either. We shall see. Maybe all of this practice will give her the foundation she needs to be an excellent listener... I have posted a picture of her blowing out her 'real birthday candle' and then of Annabelle's first tumbling class. :-)

Annabelle is THREE!!

Another new year and another birthday for Annabelle. I can't believe she is three! I know it sounds silly whenever a parents says that but time really does FLY by. One day, I am holding her, feeding her... Seemingly the next day she is feeding herself, telling me EXACTLY what she'd like on her cheeseburger (no pickles and no sprinkles (onions) mommy) and also telling me that she loves me.... AMAZING. She has grown into such a super cool little girl and Nick and I both love to laugh about the things she'll say. We are compiling a list right now that I will post as soon as it's complete. Memories for us to laugh about for years to come. Here are a few snaps from AB's party! Her very first friend party. It was a lot of fun.
