We want Annabelle to grow but these weeks are going by too fast for her mommy. I can't believe Annabelle has been home with us for two whole weeks. All of those experienced moms that told me to cherish every moment because it goes by too fast knew just what they were talking about. Annabelle had a big 2nd week of life. We went to the doctor for a weigh in and to talk to the doc about some tummy problems we've been having. We thought at first that it could be colic but instead we found out that it is acid reflux. Anne Marie is actually on baby zantac to help comfort her after feedings. We've been on the medicine for about 3 days and it does seem to be helping. Annabelle
weighed 6lbs 11oz (It was actually 6lb 14lb but she had a wet diaper...) She is doing a fantastic job eating as you can guess by her very good weight gain. I never thought that I would say the words "Good job!" after someone belches... or discuss diaper business with anyone who will listen to me...but motherhood changes you in a lot of ways! Thanks bunches for all of the cards and gifts you have sent to our home. We really appreciate your thoughts, prayers and well wishes! Before I sign off Annabelle wanted me to do a special shout out to her Dano! It's his birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANO! We can't wait for you to get home from Florida!
