Two Weeks Packed full of FUN!!!

AB has been loving life even more than usual. Starting on December 21st when she had Mommy home all to her self, through Christmas, a first birthday party and her Auntie Heather and Uncle Scottie's wedding week in Florida.
Christmas-Began on Christmas Eve at Great Grandma and Grandpa Newman's house and then a quick trip over to Kenton to visit Great Grams then back home again to put our jams to wait for Santa's first arrival. Christmas morning was a treat. Dano, Mimzey and Auntie Heather were here to watch AB check out what Santa had brought. We played and stayed in our jams all day! Grandpa and Yaya also popped in for a visit. It was the most magical Christmas Nick and I have ever had. Being a true lover of the holiday I wasn't sure how good it could be until little AB came into the picture. We're in love!!
AB's Unofficial 1st Bday-On the 27th we celebrated AB's first birthday. With a house full of friends and family we watched Annabelle enjoy her first taste of cake. SHE LOVED EVERY BIT OF THE CAKE AND THE ATTENTION INVOLVED IN EATING IT! The day was perfect. I was sentimental about the day, however, when her real birthday came closer I thought many times of my last days being pregnant, our trip to the hospital and our little peanut's arrival. I still can not believe our little girl is one. She is growing too fast. :(
Our first trip on an airplane- I wasn't sure what to expect during our plane ride to Florida. We hadn't flown with AB before...I just kept telling myself to not worry about it because it was truly out of my control. I took everything I could fit into her diaper bag and hoped for the best. I'm glad I didn't spend time worrying because Annabelle did an amazing job on the airplane and at the airport. :)
Florida- We had a very busy week planned while in Florida. AB was invited and attended all fun events at least for a few minutes before being tucked into bed. At Dano and Mimzey's condo AB even had her own room! She slept in Mimzey and Dano's walk-in closet!!! We joked all week about locking the baby in the closet but it was a NICE set up. Tucked away from the sounds of the busy week, AB slept so well (like a baby!) She had her pack-n-play, cuddle and nuk -couldn't have been happier. She learned to do a few very cute things while in Florida...One was to put her head under the water and the other was to say "uh-oh." Both were huge crowd pleasers. We were also introduced to Annabelle's alter ego -Marybelle... Miss Lydia was so very cute with Annabelle. She is going to be a great big sister! She was over at the condo on New Year's Day and kept calling Annabelle Marybelle. We decided it was too cute not to use so when Annabelle was getting tired or mad and started to loose her composure we began calling her Marybelle. Very fun. The night before the wedding the Thompson's had a rehearsal dinner. It was a late evening so we put AB down to bed there, using one of the bedrooms in the house. She was fast asleep and Lydia had been asking about her all evening wondering where she had gone. I showed her the room where AB was sleeping. As Emily, Steve and Lydia were getting ready to leave I came over to say good night. Lydia looked at me with a very concerned expression on her face and said "Don't forget your baby." It was ADORABLE!! Heather and Scott's week was busy but very fun ending with a beautiful wedding on the beach. Heather and Scott's photographer snapped some great shots throughout the week. I will post the website as soon as she sends it my way. I didn't even bother using my camera a ton because she was getting so many wonderful pictures. For now I will post a slide show including AB's birthday party pics and her very first beach experience with Mom and Dad. I will continue to update when I can this week with some video and more pics so check back. :) Love to all!
