These months are ticking by too fast! I can't imagine a day without this sweet little buddy! Nick and I both feel so very blessed to have such wonderful healthy children! It's so easy to get caught up in the day to day and forget to be thankful for each of them and their wonderfully unique personalities.
We were just talking about it last night, how different Annabelle and Aiden's personalities are. As parents you try to mold them and teach them as they grow, but the one thing you can't teach/control/mold is their unique personalities! Those shine through no matter what the situation. It is fun watching them grow, knowing they will be just what God intended them to be. He knew what he was doing when he gave us our sweet, bubbly, passionate, spit-fire-Annabelle and likewise when he gave us sweet, easy going, happy man-Aiden. I truly wish I could freeze them! As much as I love watching and measuring their growth... I hate it because it seems to happen too quickly.
Dear Aiden,
Today you helped Mommy with the carpool- this resulted in you being awake from 7:15 to 12:30 with only two- 25 minute cat-naps... You would think that you would have been a very cranky fellow, but you weren't. Anytime I looked your direction you just smiled from ear to ear! Going with the flow is what you like to do. You watch Sissy and her friends, soaking it all in. You are jabbering quite a bit more these days - I for one can't wait to hear what you have to say about all the "business" that takes place around you. Until that day- keep soaking it in, Little Buddy!
Dear Annabelle,
Today you had 'hibernation day' at school and were able to wear your pj's. Very fun! When I picked you up after school you declared the rest of our day a PJ Day! I quickly agreed! We've sorted and counted your money in your piggy bank, played UNO, and decorated presents for two of your little friends birthdays. As I sit here and type you are coloring on their packages and dancing to music. You are so spunky! You just stood up and said, "Excuse me, I have to go. I have work to do." LOL-
You are always busy working on something, Annabelle!
