My Focus

I think every Mommy and Daddy feel these words to be true and I can't count the amount of times a parent with older children or children who are now grown have told us to cherish these times because they go by so fast.  I just really like the way the writer shared those feelings.  The ways she tells you to smell, and touch... those literal statements have made me more in tune.  I find my self sniffing Aiden and Annabelle's freshly washed hair, or examining their little hands as I hold them.  Life is just too short not to allow yourself the extra few precious seconds to notice the smallest details...
